alright, i suppose i should start making journal entries.

a full weekend is ahead of me. the regular friday happy hour at Mohawk, and then Lovejoy’s on sunday. but saturday, we’re invading Club de Ville for an evening of soul and reggae and who-knows-what. i don’t recall when Heart & Soul Soundsystem did Club de Ville last. it must’ve been months and months ago. i think it was before BBoy City, even, which would’ve been the last time i’d played at de Ville. i’ll check… november. man, i have no concept of time.

my crate needs re-arranging. i made a mess of it last weekend. the entire front third of the crate is in total disarray.

i feel somewhat silly doing a pregame write-up of this weekend when i don’t particularly have anything to say. but i need to get into the habit. though does anyone really want to know that my record crate is messy? probably not.

z-trip is in town doing a show tonight, i think. which would be awesome, but tickets are a bit pricey. if i go out after breaking down happy hour, i’ll probably hit up dj chorizo funk and dj mel at body rock. those two will throw down solid, and i can just bounce if i’m running out of energy. which sounds like a contradiction, but i really am sort of tired right now. though if anyone can make me rally, it’d be mel and chorizo.

hm, what else? i suppose i should be promoting my own gigs. so just assume that, by default, my gigs are awesome.
